Peter and I arrived early to catch the sunrise over the glacier at Lake Louise. It's been two years and this view is unforgettable. This is where I realized that landscape photography is something that I really want to do. Walking along the trail with my tripod in hand and camera around my neck I felt it was so natural and would be part of a way to share my heart.
It was fun to watch the first canoe of the day being launched. It felt as it should be a sense of being alone in this beautiful place.
A walk along the lakeshore is always nice and as you can see the reflection follows no matter where you stand. We were fortunate that morning the water was so calm and reflective.
I couldn't have set this up better...from the sharing of culture and meeting the many, many tourists along the trail. I've come to accept this secret place hasn't been a secret for a long time. The happiness it brings to others is wonderful to see. We all need to find the beauty in life whether near or far, seeing it is the key.
